SPECIAL THANKS!

Lorenzo Flores, Bear graduate class of 2011, walked in the door this morning, thanked me for all I did for him, went on and on about the support from the staff while he was here……went on to tell me about how he heard of our financial condition.  He asked for donations he collected cans and he handed me $200 cash! Speechless!

School Dress Code

  • The dress code plays an important part of CCCS's academic success.
  • NO skinny pants.
  • Shoes need to the athletic shoes with arch support; see the Parent Handbook.
  • The white polo shirts with the school logo can only be worn on Wednesday. (Spirit Day)
  • We need your cooperation so that uniform issues may be addressed and resolved.


Keeping Students Safe at Drop Off and Dismissal

  • If you have a car: please enter the yard from Grevillea, have your child ready to exit your car during the AM drop off.
  • If you have a car: please pick up students from inside the yard, NOT in front of the school
  • DO NOT double-park anywhere around the school.

Good Day to all the Bear Families.

The revolution to keep CCCS continues everyday.  Parents and staff have made connectionswith donors and advocates who are calling and emailing on our behalf. If we stick to the plan and EVERYONE participates I am confident that we will remain open...this is CRITICAL to our continued operation for you to participate in MULTIPLE ways. Have you donated your $5? Have you asked everyone you know to donate $5? Who have you called? written? emailed about our issues? Can you call someone EVERY DAY on behalf of CCCS?

If every kid donated their $5 we'd have $2260, we don't, if every parent donated their $5 we'd have an additional $2260. 8th graders are very complacent on this issue. I’m wondering how they will feel if we have to close in May, having NO graduation. If we stick to the plan and EVERYONE participates I am confident that we will remain open; we need the entire village going full force on this.
